Hello Readers! I was given this plate by my best friend, whom is also my little sister. I want to dedicate this plate to my father who is currently fighting Stage 4 cancer. He was diagnosed a few years ago and is still staying strong to be with us everyday. I’ve watched him transform over the past few years to a more transparent, open and vulnerable person. He is caring, empathetic and shows compassion for his family and friends. He is constantly reminding us to live each day as if it were our last. Sending us random messages with favorite songs, movie clips or just “pick-me-up” notes. If you are receiving this message, I want to tell you to stay strong no matter your situation and try to live each day with more presence. You are loved, you are strong, you are a fighter!

I received the giving plate from a very close friend of mine. I am going through one of the hardest times of my life right now and when I received this gift, it reminded me of the strong support system that I have. This hard chapter will pass and I will come out of it having stronger relationships with the people I love dearly. It also was a reminder that maybe I'm not the only person going through hard times and perhaps when I share this plate, it will bring happiness to someone else, even if it is for a moment in time. I can't wait to read about the journey of this plate. It only begins here and it will travel on and have lasting impacts on others. Cheers to you!
